Jason Blechman is a pianist, composer and attorney with a deep love of ice cream. He never imagined that he would enjoy writing and performing for children and families, but now he is hooked. He has a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.
Nina Zeitlin is an established Brooklyn-based singer, composer and producer. In addition to her multi-genre, multi-media work in independent and commercial music, she also has extensive experience creating music as an educational tool. Her songs have been featured on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, NBC’s Nightly News, and CBS News. Nina has had original songs released by a number of international record labels and publishers and she performs at venues throughout the New York area. She is a graduate of Wesleyan University where she studied music and sociology. Nina is thrilled to be part of King Pajama and loves cheese, pajamas and ice cream. (www.ninazeitlin.com)
Joshua Gilgoff has been playing and
studying drums for over 10 years.His musical journey has brought him from The New School of Jazz and
Contemporary Music in New York City all the way to Ghana, West Africa. He
has played professionally on cruise ships, in amusement parks and done
extensive gigging around New York City, Philadelphia and Montreal. From his
diverse experiences he developed a completely novel technique in drumming that
both adults and children find visually and musically stimulating. Joshua is also a full-time elementary school music teacher in Harlem
where he inspires children to appreciate and create many types of music. His unconventional style adds noticeable

Jena Blechman
is a school psychologist at a public school in Brooklyn, New York. She has a P.D. in School Psychology from Fordham University and an M.A. in Education from Claremont Graduate University with an emphasis on teaching culturally diverse students. She was an elementary school teacher in public and private schools in Los Angeles for five years. Jena was instrumental in developing King Pajama and continues to advise the band.
